We have now a range of ten different beers, with Winter Solstice being the latest beer to be brewed.  A selection of the ten beers are available at any one time, please contact us to find out what we currently have on stock and our future brewing schedule. All beers are available in 9 gallon Firkins or 18 gallon Kilderkins.

Pin Scheme

We now have a number of Pins (36 pints) available for supply. This size cask is ideal for rural pubs who do not get the trade to sell the normal 72 pints from a firkin before the beer goes past its best quality.

The following beers are available all year round

Emperor’s Whim -  4.2% ABV

A golden hoppy ale with a long bitter finish.

Centurion—4.3% ABV

Traditional amber ale with a flavoursome malt character and lively hoppy finish aftertaste.

Venus—5% ABV

A light coloured, exceptionally well balanced smooth ale with a light fragrant hop finish.

Spring / Summer

This beer is available from March to September

Aquilifer—3.8% ABV

Golden session bitter with a unique taste which is refreshing and flavoursome. Named after a Roman Standard bearer.

Autumn / Winter

This beer is available from October to February

Et tu Brutus? - 4.5% ABV

Dark ale experiencing a surprising smoothness but with a long bitter finish. The name is taken from Julius Caesar’s famous dying words.

Maia Mild—4% ABV

Named after the Roman Goddess of Spring, whose name the month of May is derived from. Smooth and dark overtone with a nutty and burnt character. Originally brewed for the national CAMRA Mild Month of May.

Cupid—4.1% ABV

Honey beer which is a light coloured, golden ale with a smooth rounded character.

Arminius—5% ABV

A traditional classic porter with hints of malt, caramel and chocolate. Named after the German tribal leader who slaughtered 3 Roman legions.

Winter Solstice—5% ABV

A premium golden bitter with a well rounded fullness of malt and winter spices.

Caesar—6% ABV

A premium bitter with a well rounded fullness of malt and deep strength of hop bitterness.
